Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Disability Underwriter to
compute rates for group accounts and provide mentorship to junior
underwriters.
Key Responsibilities
Compute rates for renewing and prospective moderate to complex
group accounts
Negotiate and recommend competitively priced plans while
documenting underwriting rationale
Mentor junior underwriters and participate in continuous
improvement projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5 or more years of underwriting or financial/risk analysis
experience
Comprehensive understanding of risk pool management
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Passion for improving consumer experiences
